From March 4 through April 1, we studied what the Bible teaches about the ordinances of baptism
and communion in a series called Just Add Water.
The first 3 weeks focused on baptism. Who is it for?
When should it be done? Why do we do it? What
does it mean? How do we practice it here at Grace
Church? This part of the series concluded with
baptismal services during both morning worship services on
March 18. The final two weeks of the series focused on
a part of communion that we practice at Grace Church that
also includes water. It is foot washing. Why did
Jesus wash the disciple’s feet the night before He died?
What meaning was behind it? Why do we practice this
still today here at Grace Church? How do we practice it?
The series ended on the evening of April 1 with a threefold
communion service including foot washing and a carry-in
dinner.
Audio and video of the messages are provided
for those who are unable to attend our regular worship services and are
the property of the Grace Brethren Church of Lititz and intended for
personal use only. Please contact
the church if you would like to use the files in another
manner.
