Ken Kowalski
Elder

Ken Kowalski, an elder at Grace Church, grew up in Lancaster, attended public schools up through the eighth grade. He then attended Lancaster Christian Academy from ninth to twelfth grades. After making Liberty University his home for a year, he joined the Air Force for four years.

In 1991 Ken was married to Lisa and they now have two daughters, Ashley and Hannah. Ken and Lisa began attending Grace Church in 1992 through the invitation of neighbors. They are “rooted” in the church and are involved in several areas of ministry.

Ken’s favorite Bible is Joshua 1:8, “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” This to Ken is the formula for a successful life shown in the situation of Joshua facing an obstacle in his life and God’s encouragement to him in giving him that formula for living.

Hobbies and interests of Ken’s are family activities including camping, hiking, and biking. He also enjoys playing basketball and faithfully following the Manheim Central Barons football team.

Known as the “Dodge Guy”, Ken has never driven any car but a Dodge and will probably never own anything but a Chrysler/Jeep automobile.
